Grand reopening in 2022! Stewart and Opal Rees opened the Rees Cinema Theatre in 1940 at its present location. The theater is an Art Deco renovation of what once was Plymouth’s largest brick edifice built in 1865 during the Civil War. It opened with seating for 600 patrons and closed in December of 2009.
