If you are feeling over scheduled and uninspired, this could be the perfect place to restore your spirit and creativity. You might take a class in weaving, spinning, painting or woodworking at this studio, operated by the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ, an order of nuns who make their home here. The studio is part of a sprawling complex that includes a college, retirement living, and much more.
Classes may be anywhere from one session to six. Lodging for participants is available on the property. Moon Tree also features exhibits by regional artists, some who have their works for sale. Hours are Monday – Friday 9am to 4pm and Saturday by appointment.
