With school being right around the corner you want to make sure you get the most out of your summer this August. Luckily, there is so much happening over the next few weeks here in Marshall County, take a look! 

Farmers market is something you can’t miss while in Marshall County. You’ll discover a variety of fresh homegrown vegetables and fruits.

          Plymouth Farmers Market  7:30a and 11:20a, every Saturday morning until October. 

          Culver Farmer’s Market is open on Saturdays from 9a-1p through October and Tuesdays from 5p-7p until August 27. 

          Bremen Farmers Market is open on Wednesdays from 4p-7p through September.

It's time for Friday Night Fun!! This Friday, August 2 the Plymouth High School Alumni Association will be hosting the PHS All School Reunion during the Mayor's Month in Plymouth River Park Square. Come on out and enjoy this wonderful evening and one of many food trucks and let Magic Bus re-create the Woodstock era.

Following up, Caroline Cotter will be on The Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour having a live concert Saturday, August 3. With a captivating soprano voice and award-winning songwriting, Caroline Cotter's songs take listeners all over the world and into the depths of the human heart.

On Sunday, August 4 Coca-Cola Family Fun Day will take place at River Park Square. Bring your family and friends along to this event to enjoy live music from Just After Dark. You’ll also be able to grab some FREE hot dogs and pop. 

The Union Of Sinners And Saints Concert will be on Monday, August 5. Members from 2 Christian rock bands have come together to form a new band and they are bringing their acoustic Storyteller concert series to Culver! It will be held in a 100+ year old barn in rural Marshall County, Burr Oak Barn Rental. This may be the most intimate and personal setting that you will ever have a chance to see and hear members of Petra and Whiteheat in! There will also be a VIP eat and greet with the band before the concert with limited seats available. Proceeds from this event will be donated to a local charity. August 9th will be one of the busiest Fridays this month in Marshall County. 

            Starting with Hidden Gems in Indiana & Marshall County Brown Bag hosted by Marshall County Museum Historic Crossroads Center. Here, Deb Parcell will take you on a trip to                    some of the most unique places in Indiana and Marshall County! You’ll find out about many interesting historic places that might be worth a second visit!

            Next is Argos TGIF assuring an enjoyable time with live music by Katlyn Hersick, lots of food options, crafts, Fire Spinning and much more!

            Bourbon Summerfest will start August 9 and end August 11. The Bourbon Community will host their 33rd Annual Bourbon Summerfest on the grounds of Triton School Corporation. 

            Lastly, The Cold Hearts show will also take place this August 9. This will be an outdoor show in Culvers Lakeshore where all ages are welcomed. 

This year the Bourbon Festival will run from August 9 to August 11.  August 10 will be Bourbons Summerfest Cornhole competitive Tournament, bring your partner along!

The REES Theater has been raising funds to be renovated. Over 900 donations have been made to date meaning, they are 23% away from their goal! Which is why Coffee Lodge has decided to host a Pulled Pork sandwich, chips and drink fundraiser. Tickets are Pre-Sale only and can be purchased at Bowen Printing or the Coffee Lodge for just $10.

Come out for an awesome evening of music on August 23. You can grab some food from your favorite Downtown Restaurant or visit one of the many food trucks that will be in River Park Square. Help us celebrate Mayor's Month with Music from Grace Affeltranger!

Every year Marshall County hosts the largest 4 day festival in Indiana, attracting nearly half a million visitors over Labor Day Weekend. The Blueberry festival provides a wide variety of entertainment on 3 stages, craft and commercial booths, delicious and unique food booths, a spectacular fireworks display, a grand parade, foot race, car shows, and so much more. This year the doors will open on August 30th at 5pm.
