Everyone loves going to festivals for the wonderful food, entertainment and long lasting memories you leave with! In Marshall County, we have four different festivals for you to enjoy this summer! They all take place at different times and throughout the summer so be sure to set aside some time to enjoy a day at the festival! Argos Summer Kickoff Festival: Please come out and enjoy all of the fun and entertainment at the 2018 Argos Summer Kickoff Festival! This year, we have a wide variety of events you can enjoy with the whole family on Friday June 22nd and Saturday June 23rd. Events are held at the Argos Community Park. Parking at the Argos Community Schools (enter on Yearick Street). The festival parade will begin at 9:30 on Saturday morning, don’t miss it! Bremen Firemen’s Festival: We are very thankful for our fire-fighters and celebrate them with an annual festival! “The Bremen Fire Department is committed to serving the Town of Bremen, Indiana, and German Township of Marshall County, Indiana, by protecting life, property, and the environment.” The Bremen Firemen’s Festival starts Tuesday June 26th and goes until Saturday June 30th! There are all sorts of rides, vendors and fun at this festival, as well as a parade starting at 6:30pm on Tuesday June 26th!
Culver Lakefest: Looking for something to do the weekend of July 20-22nd? Well then come experience the 35th Annual Culver Lake Fest, where we have planned a great time for your family… fireworks, a parade, bass fishing tournament, 5-mile run, classic car show, craft and commercial booths, firemen’s water ball contest, corn hole contest and much more! There will be all kinds of mouthwatering food from elephant ears to BBQ ribs and ice cream to homemade lemonade. If you are seeking that one of a kind gift, stroll through the Arts and Crafts booths, with over 20 artisans specializing in hand crafted items. In addition, several commercial vendors will be available. We have carnival rides, a watermelon eating contest, pedal tractor pull, ping pong tournament, frog jumping contest and much, much more all for the kids to experience.
Blueberry Festival: We are super excited for our annual 4 day weekend Marshall County Blueberry Festival starting August 31st through September 3rd! Located in Plymouth at the scenic Centennial Park, the festival draws in visitors from all over the country with no admission fee. Visitors will be mesmerized by the festival's 3 stages of free entertainment, a carnival, a parade, a great car show, as well as a spectacular fireworks show and much more! Musical entertainment begins on Friday evening and continues through Monday afternoon! There are three different stages that one can enjoy entertainment on, The Amphitheatre Stage, Jefferson School Stage, and the Michigan Street Stage. All entertainment on these stages are free to enjoy and you are bound to find something that captivates you as you enjoy your time at the festival. On Sunday, stop by the Hoosier Old Wheels Car Show & Swap Meet and enjoy antique cars, hot rods, custom cars and trucks! Gates open at 8:00 a.m. and closes at 2:30 p.m. Admission charge is $2.00 per person and 12 & under is free with an adult! Why leave after the car show? Enjoy festivities at the festival, grab some dinner and grab a seat for the Hot Air Balloon Glow and of course a spectacular fireworks show! On Monday, grab a seat along the route of the Blueberry Stomp (15k, 5k,& Fun Run) and Blueberry Festival Parade, a hometown favorite event! Along with thousands of spectators, you will enjoy local high school bands, fire trucks, police units, classic cars, antique tractors, National Guard members, local civic groups and many other parade floats that will have you coming back year after year. All Star Amusement provides the Blueberry Festival with the very best in "Iron in the Sky." With thrilling rides for all ages the Carnival can truly be a family activity.
