Walk Green

Marshall County offers two uniquely different trails for our visitors to enjoy! The Potawatomi Wildlife Park offers nearly five miles of trails that are open daily from sunrise to sunset for your enjoyment. All trails are rated easy to moderate and offer a relaxing change of pace as they wind through forests and fields past wetlands and the Tippecanoe River. There are many habitats in the Park and in them you will find a variety of trees, shrubs and wildflowers. These habitats provide cover for most species of wildlife found in northern Indiana including several endangered and threatened species. You may might see any of these animals while on a hike through the Park. The city of Plymouth has developed a 2.2 mile asphalt covered Greenway that is a scenic, sometimes rolling path through parkland, woods and wetlands. Significant portions run beside the Yellow River and offer opportunity for viewing natural plants and wildlife native to the area. The Greenways were built so that everyone can have a day of adventure. Walkers, runners, skaters, cyclists and folks who simply enjoy nature can take advantage of this recreational opportunity.
