Paint with Me

Do you have a special child in your life who is interested in learning to paint? Are you feeling a bit artistic yourself? Try Bremen Public Library's new Paint With Me class, instructed by Susie Schaetzle of Create-UR-Canvas.

The fun begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18 in the Lower Level Meeting Room and is expected to conclude by 7:30 p.m.

The $25 project fee includes two 8x10 canvases (one for the adult and one for the child), the use of an easel, paint and brushes, along with expert, step-by-step instruction. This month's painting is called "Love" and features a mother giraffe kissing the top of a baby giraffe's head. When the two canvases are placed side-by-side, they form one large painting.

Payment is required at the time of registration. Stop by the Adult Desk at the library to reserve your spot. Call the library at 574-546-2849 with questions.

Paint With Me will be held on the third Thursday of each month, featuring a different painting each time.
