Looking for that biking adventure? Look no further then right here in Marshall County where are four different county bike trails already mapped out for you! The trails range from a 16 mile trail to a 63 mile trail! How is that for adventure?!

The Marshall County Bike Trails

Twin Lakes Area – 16 miles

Across the gently rolling country roads, this trail allows you to explore the Twin Lakes area that is located just southwest of Plymouth.  Along this route, you will get the chance to bike past the Chief Menominee Memorial (perfect place to stop and explore and maybe have a sip of water or a picnic lunch) and through the lake-filled area where Villages of the Potawatomi once stood.

Culver and Twin Lakes – 31 miles

On this trail, you will get to travel southwest of Plymouth and enjoy the beautiful countryside that Marshall County has to offer.  This route takes you to Culver with its neat shops and restaurants, you may want to stop for a bite to eat here and enjoy the area before heading back on the trail. On your way back, stop and explore the Chief Menominee Memorial and the Native American history that is along the trail.

Culver and Lake Maxinkuckee – 41 miles

If you are headed out on the Culver and Twin Lakes trail, you might want to try and add another 10 miles to your trail and enjoy biking around Lake Maxinkuckee! Enjoy the countryside of Marshall County as well as its lake community and the beautiful homes and scenery that the lake has to offer as you cruise around it. The 10 extra miles is well worth it if you are up for it!

Cross Country – 63 miles

This is the big one. The Cross Country Trail, 63 beautiful miles along Marshall County countryside including the home of Ancilla College and The Center of Donaldson which is an exploring adventure in itself! If you are able to do a 63 mile trail, this is a trail that will leave you in awe as you admire and explore the different things that pop up along the way that you may not have known were here.

What are you waiting for? Pack a lunch, grab extra water, pump up those tires and hit the trail of your choice! Explore the back roads in a way you haven’t done before! Stop and grab the “oh, look at this” picture because tomorrow that pictures may be completely different then today! Everything is an adventure if you are willing to take the time to unwind and enjoy it!
