Kids Day at the Museum: The Marshall County Museum has some fun activities planned for the kids on Wednesday, March 28 during Spring Break!  Samantha, the 147-lb. Newfoundland service dog will be available for licks and hugs from noon - 3!   Marshall County Soil & Water are showcasing their new augmented reality sandbox from 11 -3!   This state-of-the-arts sandbox projects topographical map images on the sand as kids create hills and dig valleys!  The infamous interactive model trains will be in full operation with a Disney theme from 11 - 3!  Kid's can make an Earth Day-themed craft or play a vintage card games like Old Maid, War, or Crazy Eights!  Dairy Queen treat coupons will be given to all kids to keep the fun going even AFTER the museum trip!  The Marshall County Museum is located at 123 N. Easter Egg Hunt in the Park: Are you looking for something festive to do with your family in order to celebrate Easter? If so, you can join us at the Easter Egg Hunt, which will take place on Thursday, March 29th at 5:30pm! The hunt will be at the front of Centennial Park near the large wooden playground. There will be three age groups: Walking-4, 5-7, and 8-11. Don't forget to bring your camera & baskets! Free Coca-Cola products & popcorn! Rain, snow or shine! Easter Brunch at Swan Lake: Fell free to come on out to Swan Lake Resort on Sunday, April 1st for our always popular Easter Brunch. Let the staff of Swan Lake Resort do all the work while you enjoy time with family and friends. Along with a wonderful Buffet meal served in the Grand Ballroom, we will also be visited by the Easter Bunny. For the kids, we will have an Easter Egg Hunt in our Gazebo Courtyard to be held at 1 PM. We will be providing two seating times for this year's event. The first seating will take place at 11:00 AM and the second seating will take place at 2:00 PM. Earthworks Spring Break: Your children can come to the Earthworks Spring Break from 9:00am-3:00pm from April 2nd through the 6th! The "Signs of Spring" program will encourage children to investigate seeds and to discover what seeds need to grow. Children will visit the greenhouse, Ancilla Beef & Grain Farm, and MoonTree Prairie to learn the various ways seeds are planted. Music and art will be included in the curriculum.
